Anne Akiko Meyers is one of the world’s premiere concert violinists. A celebrated soloist, chamber musician, recording artist and educator, Meyers is remarkable for her creative diversity, collaborating with world-class musicians from both the classical and popular worlds, premiering and commissioning new works, and showcasing under-performed or rarely heard works.
In the 2010/11 season, Ms. Meyers performs the Mozart G Major Concerto, with cadenzas composed for her by Wynton Marsalis, with the St. Louis and Grand Rapids symphony orchestras. She appears with other orchestras throughout the US, and tours nationally to promote her highly-anticipated album, “The Seasons…Dreams” on E1 Records (September 2010, release date.)
