From request to premiere and beyond, Anthony describes the process of working with composer Thomas Adès to commission and perform a new work.  Ten years after asking for a violin concerto, Anthony finally received the exceptional  “Concentric Paths” less than six weeks before performing its world premiere at the Proms in 2005.
